County officials and judges took their oath of office earlier today at the Butler County Courthouse.
A number of officials were sworn in, including new Court of Common Pleas Judge William “Wink” Robinson. Also County Commissioners Kevin Boozel, Kim Geyer, and Leslie Osche took their oath to serve another four years.
Judge William Shaffer was also re-elected to serve another 10 years on the Court of Common Pleas and addressed the crowd at the end of the ceremony.
“I was trying to find the words to say and I found this quote from Noah Webster,” Shaffer said. “‘Wherever public spirit prevails, liberty is secure.’ So liberty is secure in Butler County.”

- Treasurer Diane Marburger
- Recorder of Deeds Michelle Mustello
- Register of Wills Sarah Edwards
