Butler County is once again applying for a grant they say helps cut recidivism in the area.
The Day Reporting Center Program Grant is a statewide effort to help provide funding that keeps former inmates out of prison and good members of the community.
Locally, officials say the grant helps them provide extended treatment, housing, and other services.
The grant is for $260,000.
Butler County has participated in the program for over 15 years.
