Butler County is moving grant funding to help with the construction of a centralized garage for county equipment.
Two previously issued RACP (r-cap) grants were awarded to Slippery Rock University and Butler County Tourism.
However, those planned projects will not come to fruition. But, the county is able to redirect the money for an emergency services garage on the campus of the Butler County 911 Center.
The RACP grants are an estimated $2 million, which does require a match.
There has been no official bid or construction plan for the garage at the moment.
