Officers in Butler County’s sheriff’s department have a new contract.
The new three-year deal was announced at yesterday’s county commissioner meeting.
The contract will see a three percent raise from 2024 through 2026. County officials say that healthcare benefits are consistent with other departments in the county.
The Sheriff’s department consists of 22 full-time and five part-time officers.
The contract is retroactive to the start of this year and runs through the end of 2026.
