Butler County’s unemployment rate remains below the state average.
New numbers from the state’s Department of Labor show Butler County with an unemployment rate of 3.3% for the month of December. The statewide rate is 3.5%.
Out of the eligible workforce of nearly 98,000, there are about 3,200 people out-of-work.
There were also more online job postings this month than at this time last year.
