County officials say they will have enough cash on hand while the state budget talks continue to stall.
Commissioners passed a resolution urging the governor and state legislature to pass a budget as soon as possible.
The main impact to the county is in the human services department, which relies heavily on state funding.
Officials say they’ll be able to pull from funding that is in reserves, however they expressed disappointment they’ll lose money on the interest they’re earning.
Human Services has an estimated budget of $3.55 million per month.
The state is now two months past their deadline to pass a budget.
