Another ruling is expected on a case that will decide whether an asphalt plant will be constructed in Slippery Rock.
Heilman Pavement Specialties, the Slippery Rock Township Zoning Hearing Board, and the Save Slippery Rock Creek and Food & Water Watch were back in court Wednesday over land in Slippery Rock Township.
The concerned residents argued Heilman pavement company has not yet specified a location for the road which could impact odors emanating from a potential plant.
The pavement company argued that such specifics are not required at the current phase of the zoning process and that odors would not emanate past property lines.
Previously the case was sent back to the Slippery Rock Zoning Board but Commons Plea Judge Michael Yeager could make a final decision.
