The interim president of Butler County Community College has been rewarded for a job well done with the position on a permanent basis.
During their Wednesday afternoon meeting, BC3 trustees voted unanimously to name Megan Coval as the school’s ninth president.
Coval’s four-year contract begins today with an annual base salary of $215,000. Before joining the college as Director of the BC3 Education Foundation in 2021, the 41-year-old Valencia resident spent 13 years in Washington working in federal student financial aid policy.
Coval has been serving in the interim role since May of last year when she took over for a retiring Dr. Nick Neupauer.
