Pennsylvania has now lost more than 30,000 people due to COVID.
That’s according to latest update from the Department of Health. The data also shows that more than 75 percent of those who have died are above the age of 70.
Locally, Butler County has seen the number of COVID deaths rise in the past six weeks bringing the countywide death toll to 471.
The county has also had more than 23,000 total cases going back to the beginning of the pandemic.
