The total number of people who have died from Covid-19 at the Butler Hospital continues to decline.
At the end of each month, we look at data that we keep in our newsroom, which comes directly the Butler Health System.
In February, our records show 13 people died from COVID-19 at Butler Memorial. That number is down significantly from January where the hospital saw 31 individuals pass away from COVID.
It was in December of 2020 that recorded the highest number of COVID deaths with a total of 44 people. December was the deadliest month at Butler Memorial Hospital since the pandemic began.
Our newsroom receives data directly from the Butler Health System a few days per weeks outlining the number of COVID-19 patients the hospital is treating as well as the number of individuals who have passed from COVID-19.
As of today, Monday, March 1, 2020, there are 6 patients being treated for coronavirus with 3 COVID patients in the ICU. No deaths were reported over the weekend.
