The Cranberry Township Community Chest has announced the 2023 Project of the Year will be connecting the Municipal Center to the community with a pedestrian friendly shared space.
The Project will be called “The Great Lawn” and will include the construction of a green gathering space, expansion of pedestrian connections, and upgrades to the Municipal Center.
Armstrong has signed on as the title sponsor of this project to help provide a focal gathering place and centerpiece for Cranberry residents and visitors.
Cranberry Community Days continues Friday with the Cranberry CUP Home Run Derby at 4 p.m., a Butler County Emergency Services Unit Armored truck from 5 to 9 p.m., live music from 6 to 10 p.m., and the Battle of the Badges Sand Volleyball Tournament at 7 p.m.
