Police in Cranberry Township are warning residents about a scam circulating in the area.
They say someone is calling resident and claiming to be a police officer.
The officer then requests bond money to avoid serving prison time.
Police say if you receive a call like this, hang up and contact the Cranberry Township Police Department.
