A Cranberry Township man accused of sexually assaulting a child, then sending the video to the child is now seeing his case move to federal court.
In August, Cranberry Township Police charged and arrested 33-year-old Cameron Villanti.
Villanti is accused of sexually assaulting a 10-year-old at his Cranberry home, and then sending a video of the act to the child. He’s also accused of sexual assault in Erie.
In December, Villanti’s case was moved to the federal court and Villanti was moved to the Erie County Prison as he awaits his trial.
Villanti’s facing a minimum of 15 years in prison for each of six federal charges held against him.
