Cranberry Township is once again taking applications from volunteers for their Snow Angel program.
Snow Angels help elderly or disabled Cranberry Township residents by removing snow from walkways.
Groups are encouraged to work together, and volunteers must be 15 years or older or be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Volunteers will have to provide their own equipment and be able to commit to at least one home.
The township would like to clarify this program is different from Leaf Angles. Snow Angles must commit to shoveling from the beginning of the season until the final snow falls.
For those interested in volunteering they can do so on the Cranberry Township website. Requests for assistance will begin to be taken on December 1st.
