A southern Butler County municipality is preparing to welcome community members of every faith to a celebration of the eight-day observance of Chanukah.
On Thursday a public Menorah lighting will be held at the Cranberry Township’s Municipal Center on Rochester Road at 5 p.m.
This free event will feature a variety of foods, games and live music as well as a Grand Gelt Drop with chocolate and other goodies dropped from a Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company ladder truck.
This gathering is presented by Chabad Jewish Center of Cranberry.
