Cranberry Township is joining the fight against breast cancer.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the township is helping bring attention to the disease with a couple of initiatives.
The township’s Municipal Building on Rochester Road will be illuminated with pink during the entire month. The township’s first responders are also wearing pink bands on their badges.
And next Wednesday, township employees will wear pink and donate to a local breast cancer charity.
Anyone interested in looking for events to support breast cancer research can visit the township’s social media page.
