A local township has again received regional recognition at a ceremony held earlier this month.
Cranberry Township was one of 74 regional municipalities to be named Banner Communities by the Allegheny League of Municipalities. The announcement was made during a ceremony and luncheon on last week in Pittsburgh.
This is the ninth year of the program that recognizes communities committed to professional development, prudent fiscal management, transparency, accountability, and proactive communications.
Cranberry Township has been recognized each year since the program’s inception.
