Cranberry Township officials say their slow down campaign ended with positive results.
The annual campaign aims to make cars follow speed limits in residential neighborhoods in Cranberry.
Four radar signs were posted in 40 different areas and found that the average speed was 20.6 miles per hour.
Officials say nearly 20,000 cars passed the signs over the campaign, and found that the radar’s average success rate at slowing vehicles down was about 40 percent.
