Cranberry Township has been awarded several grants to improve local traffic conditions.
The township will receive approximately $108,000 in grants through the PennDOT Green Light Go program to modernize equipment.
The money will be used for traffic signal controller assemblies along Route 19, remote management of the signal communications network at four intersections, and LED signal replacements at six intersections.
A total of 50 municipalities across the state received a combined over $15 million as part of this 6th round of funding. The Green Light Go Project is funded through Act 89 and will be managed by PennDOT.
