Construction work is underway in Cranberry Township’s Community Park, which is leading to some areas being closed at the park.
The old Dog Park is closed permanently along with the parking lots near the Public Safety Training Center.
Officials say the new Rotary Dog Park remains open.
The township approved a major project to build three new grass fields, a restroom facility, and pavilion.
The project is funded in part by a $2.8 million grant from DCNR.
