A southern Butler County crash forced the closure of a portion of a busy road Wednesday afternoon.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center shortly before 4:30 p.m. Wednesday for a crash in the 200 block of Ekastown Road.
Crews from Buffalo Township and Sarver were among those dispatched to the scene to find a truck that had tipped over on its side. The driver was able to get out of the vehicle on his own and did not appear to be seriously injured. It is not believed any other vehicles were involved.
A utility pole was sheared off and wires were down on the road requiring Ekastown between Fleming and Parker Roads to be shut down for a time in order to allow for cleanup.
