A crash that closed a portion of Interstate 79 Tuesday afternoon backed up traffic in Cranberry Township.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center just after 2:30 p.m. for the rollover of a flatbed tractor trailer hauling drywall near mile marker 82 northbound.
Crews from Cranberry and Harmony District were among those dispatched to the scene to find a male with a hand injury who was transported to UPMC Cranberry.
A secondary crash involving a school bus was reported in the resulting traffic but no injuries required treatment.
Cranberry Police were directing Route 228 traffic around the on-ramp to I-79 northbound and a portion of the road had to be closed while sheets of drywall were cleaned up.
