Crews battled a barn fire last night in Connoquenessing Township.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center around 8 p.m. for a barn on fire on Holt Lane.
Crews arrived on scene and soon escalated it to a two-alarm fire.
Firefighters said their operations were “defensive only” meaning they could only battle the blaze from the outside.
Crews were able to get the fire under control in about 40 minutes.
The barn was significantly damaged.
