
The Slippery Rock Volunteer Fire Company were among multiple crews called out to fight a house fire in Mercer County early Tuesday morning.
The department says they were dispatched to a house fire in Springfield Township just after 1 a.m.
The fire reportedly started in a garage and then spread to the home on Brent Road.
Crews had to ventilate the roof in order to help control the blaze. They remained on scene until 4 a.m.
There was a significant amount of damage done to the home. Dispatchers say no one was injured.
