Crews were quite busy Monday afternoon responding to a number of different crashes.
The first call came into the Butler County 911 Center just before 1:30 p.m. Monday for an accident at the intersection of Mars Valencia and Downieville Roads. Emergency responders from Adams Township were among those responding to find a tractor trailer collided with another vehicle. This crash also involved entrapment and a fuel leak. A portion of Mars Valencia between the scene and Route 228 needed closed.
The second call came into the Butler County 911 Center shortly after 1:30 p.m. for a crash in the 300 block of Whitestown Road, Lancaster Township. Crews from Harmony District were among those arriving to find a vehicle on its side with one motorist entrapped. The extent of injuries and cause of the crash are both unknown at this time.
