Several people were injured as a result of a couple of accidents around Butler County Wednesday afternoon.
The first call came into the Butler County 911 Center just before 1:30 p.m. for a single vehicle crash into a tree on Crisswell Road in Butler Township. Butler Ambulance transported a male with a head injury to the Pittsburgh Butler Airport where Life Flight transported him to Pittsburgh for additional treatment.
The second call came into the Butler County 911 Center just after 1:30 p.m. for a multiple vehicle crash on Evans City Road (Route 68) near Skander Tire. Crews from Evans City and Harmony District to find two people in need of transport to UPMC Cranberry for treatment of unknown injuries. The scene was cleared in just under an hour.
