The first was a two vehicle accident on Center Avenue at the intersection with Marvin Street that happened around 6:30 a.m. Dispatchers say an airbag went off in one of the vehicles—no major injuries were reported.
The second crash happened around 7:30 on Route 8 South near the Butler-Allegheny County line. The motorcyclist was reportedly on the ground when crews arrived—the extent of the driver’s injuries are unknown.
And then just after 8 a.m., crews responded to a one vehicle crash on I-79. This happened around in the northbound lane near the 97 milemarker, which is just north of the Portersville-Prospect area. Crews say no one was injured, but a vehicle was smoking.
