Crews were called to a residence hall last night at Slippery Rock University for a smoke-filled room.
Crews were alerted around 8:30 p.m. for smoke in a room at Rhoads Hall on Slippery Rock’s campus. There was enough smoke to trigger the fire alarms in the building.
When crews got on scene, they didn’t see anything from outside of the building. They were soon able to find the room and began ventilation.
Firefighters believe it was an electrical fire that started due to an Xbox power supply.
No one was injured and crews cleared the scene just after 9 p.m.
