An overnight garage fire is impacting traffic this morning on Route 422.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center around 1:30 a.m. for a garage fire in the 900 block of New Castle Road—which is also Route 422 near the Longhorn Corral.
Multiple crews were called in to battle the flames.
There was still smoke coming from the garage as of 5 a.m.
It also appears there was an apartment above the garage, but it’s unclear if anyone was inside when the fire began.
There are traffic restrictions on Route 422 this morning, with a portion of the road closed at Dick Road. Police advise using alternative routes.
