Butler City Mayor Bob Dandoy has won another term in office.
According to unofficial results from the Bureau of Elections, the Democratic incumbent won another four years as Butler’s mayor.
He defeated Republican challenger Don Shearer by just under 400 votes.
A write-in campaign by former Mayor Tom Donaldson appears to have garnered under 100 total votes in the election.
Dandoy first won election in 2021 after serving on City Council.
The race for City Council in Butler City is a three-way race for two seats between Lisa Quebedeaux, Bill Painter and John Kramer. It is too close to call at the moment.
