The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources say that Butler County is seeing more changes in leaf colors.
According to their weekly update, the DCNR says Butler County is now in the “Approaching Best Color” category. That means that peak color is about one week away.
Officials say that Mercer County has some picturesque foliage, but some of the rain and wind over the weekend has lost some leaves.
Most of the northwestern part of the state is now in in the peak foliage category.
