The deadline for nursing homes across the state to complete testing for COVID-19 is fast approaching.
A recent report from the state department of health indicates that nearly 400 of the state’s 563 nursing homes have completed the mandated testing so far with Friday set as the date of compliance.
In Butler County, 12 facilities have reported a total of 20 cases of confirmed COVID-19 among residents as well as 15 cases of employees contracting the virus. The number of deaths is listed as two.
