The deadline for the Property Tax/Rent rebate program has been extended to later this year.
Eligible Pennsylvanians now have until December 31st to file for a rebate potentially up to $1,000.
Those eligible include Pennsylvanians 65 and older, widows and widowers age 50 or older, and residents 18 and older with disabilities.
Applications can be submitted through the myPATH site and those deemed eligible would see payments made out on July 1.
Applications filed after that date could see rebates immediately.
