Those interacting with anyone dealing with dementia are invited to a free event happening Thursday.
A Dementia Friends information session will take place at 6:30 p.m. at the South Butler Community Library.
This event will provide information on changing the way people think, act, and talk about dementia. This gathering will kick off the new Dementia Friends support group that will meet monthly beginning in October.
Registration is preferred by calling the South Butler Library but walk-ins are also welcome. Visit the Dementia Friends PA website for more information.
