The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection has been attempting to get in touch with an oil and gas company over violations in Butler and Venango counties.
On December 30, the DEP issued violations to Lazy Oil Company for 12 conventional oil and gas well for being abandoned and unplugged.
Nine wells are in Marion Township while three more are located in Irwin Township, all the wells are oil.
If you are or know the owner of Lazy Oil Company, you’re asked to contact the DEP Northwest Oil & Gas District Office in Meadville by January 20.
