During this Memorial Day, a state agency is encouraging donations to a program to provide upkeep for the largest veterans’ memorial located in any of the national cemeteries.
The Department of Military and Veterans Affairs is asking for donations to the Pennsylvania Veterans’ Memorial Trust Fund which maintains the Pennsylvania Veterans’ Memorial, located at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, Lebanon County.
One hundred percent of donations go toward the upkeep such as landscaping, lighting, and fountains as well as needed maintenance for structural and cosmetic components throughout the memorial.
Tax-deductible donations can be made online through the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs website or by sending a check.
