The Department of Revenue is warning of a possible tax-related scam.
Officials say scammers are sending messages and emails warning taxpayers of a “Final Demand for Payment.”
The revenue department says these messages are not real and that the scammers are trying to obtain personal information.
If you receive a letter like this, throw it away and contact local police or the Revenue Department’s fraud bureau at 717-772-9297.
