The Butler Township Planning Commission has recommended approval of a revised residential land development plan.
After initially receiving approval for this project last year, Winmer Properties in Evans City has adjusted plans for Autumn Woods along Meridian Road and Fontana Street near Meridian Station.
A total of 23 buildings and 92 units are still planned to sit on approximately 35 acres. The adjustment that has been made is that the development is now planned to take place in two phases with the first expected to include nine buildings along with the plan’s clubhouse.
One public road maintained by Butler Township is planned to provide access from Meridian Road that will initially end in a cul-de-sac. Phase two might take as long as five years to complete but is expected to include a private loop road, sidewalks, a walking trail, pool, and common mailbox.
This plan will next move to consideration by the Butler Township Commissioners at their next meeting later this month.
