Hunters will soon be able to carry digital versions of certain hunting licenses instead of paper ones.
Earlier this year the Pennsylvania Game Commission authorized hunters and trappers to use their new system HuntFishPA to carry digital licenses and permits.
Those who have already purchased their hunting or trapping licenses for the current year can download PDF copies of these documents through their profile on HuntFish.PA.gov. As long as an email address is part of the profile, a PDF file of the license will also be emailed.
Paper harvest tags must still be carried and used during any season in which harvests are required to be tagged. No electronic harvest tags will be issued or authorized for use.
