Slippery Rock fell 30-24 in overtime to Bloomsburg Saturday to end their season with two consecutive losses. The Rock will miss the NCAA post-season for the first time in seven years. They finish their season 6-4. The playoff streak had been the second-longest in the nation.
–Kutztown defeated IUP 28-23 to win the PSAC championship. The Golden Bears were given the #1-seed in Super Region One to begin the Division II playoffs this weekend. They will host Bentley, who are one of the eight teams to reach the post-season.
–IUP will host Assumption Saturday.
–The California Vulcans also made the playoffs and will travel to Richmond, Virginia to face Virginia Union Saturday.
The NCAA DII playoffs expanded to include eight teams in each of the four regions across the nation this season.
