The first round of students in Butler County are getting ready to head back to class Wednesday.
Wednesday is the first day of school for students in the Knoch, Slippery Rock, Freeport, and AC Valley School Districts.
Of course the new year means some new changes—and that’s the case at the Knoch High School. Due to the ongoing construction, certain areas will be blocked off but other areas like the new LGI room will be available for instructional use.
Younger students in the Slippery Rock School District will be welcomed back by a couple new administrators as former Slippery Rock student Crystal Johnston begins her first year as principal of Slippery Rock Area Elementary School and Debbie DeBlasio has been named as interim Principal at Moraine Elementary.
