The Remote Area Medical Clinic is returning to Butler in a couple of weeks, but they are still looking for some extra help.
The clinic is returning to the Butler Intermediate High School and offers free medical services, including dental and vision.
Lynn McKinnis is helping organize the clinic and says they need some doctors willing to volunteer the weekend of November 8th.
“We’re in need of ophthalmologists and optometrists. I know many eye care offices are open on Saturdays, but if doctors are free in the evening or a Sunday, even for a couple of hours, it would be a major help to the clinic,” McKinnis said.
They are also looking for general volunteers to help with setup, parking, and other logistics starting Friday night.
