The Los Angeles Dodgers won the first World Series since 1988 last night following a 3-1 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays. The Dodgers won the best-of-seven series 4-2. Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager was named the World Series MVP, after having also been the National League Championship Series MVP. He hit eight home runs and had 20 RBIs during the postseason.
