The latest data from the Department of Health shows that COVID cases are declining in Butler County.
Some of the metrics that state officials evaluate when looking at COVID prevalence all showed a decline by the end of April.
The county’s positivity rate was at 7.4 percent; health officials say a good number is when that figure falls below 5 percent.
The week-over-week number of cases is also down by about 44 cases per week.
