Three people are behind bars following a drug bust Thursday morning in the city of Butler.
The Butler County Drug Task Force, along with the Butler City Police and a Butler County Emergency Services Unit served a search warrant at a residence in the 100 block of Heim Avenue shortly after 6 a.m.
Police seized over three ounces of methamphetamine, about $3,500 in cash, five guns, scales, packing material and other drug paraphernalia.
Occupants 22-year-old Shayne Lipka of Butler, 21-year-old Jesse George of Rimersburg, and 23-year-old James Francis of Butler were arrested and charged multiple felonies including Possession With Intent To Deliver a Controlled Substance and Criminal Conspiracy.
In addition, authorities say Francis was charged with felony Criminal Trespass when he allegedly broke through a door into another residence in the building while trying to escape from police.
