The East Butler Baseball Association says they will not be playing their games at the East Butler ballfields this year.
A member of the association confirmed in an email that their youth baseball program will be playing at the Prospect ballfields on Country Club Road next year.
The East Butler Borough Council made the decision to not allow the East Butler Baseball Association to use the fields for fall baseball. Since that time, the two groups have battled over the usage of the fields.
East Butler baseball contends that they have used the fields and helped maintain them. The borough council meanwhile says the association has not been forthcoming with finances and other paperwork.
