During his installation mass, Bishop Mark Eckman said he is focused on the future of the church in Pittsburgh.
The 66-year-old Eckman officially took over for Bishop David Zubik yesterday at a mass at St. Paul’s Cathedral.
Eckman said he is focused on bringing in more priests and young people to the Catholic church.
He also said that the reorganization of the church in Pittsburgh appears complete.
