For the third consecutive county commissioner meeting, a group of residents took the public comment session to ask county leaders to begin a forensic investigation into the 2020 election.
In a session that took an hour, many of the same residents from previous meetings were in attendance, but this time other topics like Afghanistan, COVID policies, and vaccines also were discussed—which brought crowd reactions.
While other topics were brought up during that time, still the main focus of the more than 50 people in attendance was asking for a forensic investigation.
Commissioners said in a past meeting that they are still awaiting word from the state Senate in regards to their investigation.
