Emergency responders were called out to Center Township yesterday afternoon after some cattle fell through the ice of a pond.
Crews from Unionville were dispatched to the 100 block of Muddy Creek Drive at 5 p.m. Monday to help the animals.
An all-terrain unit from Prospect was also called out to assist with the rescue operation. Crews remained on the scene for over two hours.
The condition of the cattle is unknown at this point.
