An employee of a daycare facility in Cranberry Township is facing charges after he allegedly assaulted a child.
In late May, police began an investigation after receiving a report about an alleged child assault at Allie Alligator.
According to charging documents, 26-year-old Joshua Branstetter of Wexford, intentionally pushed a child in a bed leading to child hitting their head on the bed frame.
The hit required the child receive a medical evaluation for redness and swelling.
Branstetter was charged with endangering the welfare of children and simple assault.
He’s was released on on nonmonetary bail as he awaits his July 18 preliminary hearing.
